Pablo Muñoz y Rojas is the General Director of the Registry of Associations at STPS since February, 2007. It STPS, he has been Attorney General at the Federal Agency for Labor Protection (2003 to 2006), General Director of Legal Affairs (2001-2003) and Labor Federal Delegate in the Federal District (1999-2000).
He has a broad professional experience in the Public Mexican sector. He served at the Interior Secretary as Undersecretary of Legal Affairs and Human Rights (2006-2007) and as Advisor to the Undersecretary of Population and Immigration Services (1998-1999). At the Tourism Secretariat, he was General Director of Legal Affairs (1990-1997) and Legal Director at the National Fund for the Promotion of Tourism (1989-1990). He was Manager of Personnel and Industrial Relations at Aeronaves de México, S.A. (1980-1983). At the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers he served in diverse legal and personnel positions between 1974 and 1989.
In February, 1976, he was founding partner of the Firm Zubiria, Muñoz y Asociados.
He has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences and has published articles on legal-related matters and Mercantile Law. He has been a professor of labor law at the Universidad Iberoamericana and the Centro Universitario México.
Pablo Muñoz y Rojas holds a BA in Law by the Universidad Iberoamericana with specialty on Labor Law. He studied a course on Work Administration and Social Welfare at the National Institute of Public Administration.
He was born in Querétaro, Querétaro, on October 11, 1949.
