Gustavo Hernández Vela K. is Deputy Attorney General for Counsel and Technical Support of the Office of the Federal Attorney for Labor Defense.
He has worked in the public sector since 2000. In the Office of the Federal Attorney for Labor Defense, he has been Deputy Attorney General for Foreign Affairs (2003-2006), Central Zone Process Control Director and North Zone Process Control Director (2001-2003) and Assistant Director of Legal Investigations (2000).
In the private sector, he was Legal Manager at Grupo Televisa, S.A. de C.V. (1999), outside Legal Advisor for the Ministry of Social Development, outside Attorney for Grupo Maeva and Club Maeva, All Inclusive Resort (1993-1994), as well as a trial attorney in the Law Office of Cuéllar & Humphrey (1995-2000) and in the Law Office of Zavala & Associates (1992-1994).
Gustavo HERNÁNDEZ VELA holds a degree in Law from the Universidad Tecnológica de México (Technical University of Mexico) and a Masters in Law from the Universidad Panamericana (Pan-American University). He holds a postgraduate degree in Administrative Law and majors in Amparo Law and Constitutional Law from the same University. He also has a major in Amparo Law from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (National Autonomous University of Mexico).
